Yes.
I wasn't that interested in the game, but the furore has kind of got me hyped to try it out! Strange how that works.
Nintendo Switch launched nearly four years after the Xbox One and it has already outsold XBO’s estimated sales total that’s currently at the 50 millions mark.
Its upwards trajectory is set to continue and demonstrates what a remarkable job Nintendo has done by differentiating it’s product from PS4/XBO with its portable functionality and also by releasing string of exclusive games that are also of a triple-a quality.
BEWARE: the article sidebar has The Last of Us 2 spoiler as a headline.
This suggest the PS5 Digital Edition could generate substantial profits for Sony.
This is a bit of spam article as there is no detail about the game and Activision have referred to the next, 2020 Call of Duty, before. Let me guess this will be followed up with an article 'confirming' that another annualised video game franchise FIFA will be getting a sequel?
"...other aspects of the feedback have brought new opportunities and considerations to light that the team is taking very seriously and working to assess. We don’t have firm answers or outcomes to share yet but the team is working as quickly as possible on plans to address some of the feedback around detail, clarity, and overall fidelity."
Woah, Microsoft and 343i must be very concerned about the public and media response if just a week after the Halo Infinite rev...
A troll headline that borders on the genius level, LOL!!
It sounds like known self-proclaimed Xbox One fan Kirk McKeand at VG247 has been unhappy about the negative Craig coverage over the weekend from the big and small gaming websites. On one hand it’s a complement to Ghost of Tsushima that’s it’s being compared to the best regarded open world game of the generation. On the other hand his take comes across as inauthentic because it overlooks the many strengths of Ghosts overall, so it appears he went seeking out one aspect, anything he could find,...
@ThatArtGuy, thank you because I was very confused.
These figures from Microsoft mean Sea of Thieves has had more players than PlayStation 4's biggest first-party exclusive so far, Spider-Man.
However more detailed metrics are required to judge its success because direct sale-for-sale comparisons can't be made as it's included in Xbox Game Pass. What would be useful is knowing how many people have played it for more than an hour. I've downloaded it and tried on my Xbox One X but just had a little look around,...
‘This generation things will be different.’
It’s been a fair question as Microsoft earlier in the generation made moves so all its games were to be online focused or online-only. Forza Horizon, Sea of Thieves and sadly trying to make the single-player franchise Fable into a multiplayer game with Fable Legends. Now it seems MS finally understands that a console needs single player games so look forward to a single player campaign in Halo Infinite, a Fable reboot, Hellblade II and a new fantasy RPG from Obsidian
Glad to see Microsoft has been taking notes from the PS5 event - the Xbox Wire post is asking for people to co-stream and has a link with instructions.
I’m gonna be honest with you... abuse in the industry is bad and should be highlighted but I come to N4G to read about GAMES. Everyday there seems to be a new allegation of harassment and I’m bored of reading about it here, this place is starting to turn into ResetEra where the majority of the first page is spent complaining about people and the industry. Do I think these stories should be banned, certainly not, but perhaps they should be kept on their own page and have their own tab. Every m...
@Obscure_Observer To answer your question Phil Spencer has commented on it.
“ Xbox head Phil Spencer has said he believes that generational exclusives are “completely counter to what gaming is about.”

Generational exclusives have always been something to celebrate, but because Microsoft’s marketing deem they are anti-consumer we are meant to not want them?
I’d argue it all officially began when Microsoft on its E3 2018 stage announced Project Scarlett, and then with Sony when it gave an interview to Wired magazine in March 2019 that was the first official mention of PlayStation 5. Those are the occasions you can (and people did) rightfully say ‘so it begins’. Not after hardware reveals, spec reveals, chassis reveals and some game reveals. At this rate the consoles will be in the shops and somebody will be saying ‘so it begins’!
Colin Moriarty definitely can come across as stand-offish and abrasive but I don't think he's a bad guy. After his controversial departure from Kinda Funny some people tried to cancel him and bury him. But he returned to his passion, PlayStation, and his Patreon is now one of the most successful and it brings in a bigger income than Kinda Funny's two channels and it isn't divided. He now has the largest most influential PlayStation podcast. I occasionally listen to Sacred Symb...
Microsoft is in a difficult place; on one hand it has announced this super powerful games console the Xbox Series X. On the other hand it has signalled that its moving away from hardware and is prioritising it’s cloud gaming service. Sure cloud gaming will play a big part in the future of gaming, but Sony entered this market too early with its PS Now service, is Microsoft alienating gamers by doing the same?
